1What Kiomi is
Kiomi Memory is a Chrome extension that gives ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Grok one shared memory of you. These terms cover the Kiomi Chrome extension, the kiomi.ai website, the Kiomi connector, and the Claude Code plugin, all operated by Kiomi ("we" or "us").
Kiomi is in public beta. It is an early version, and its features, limits, and rules will change. By using Kiomi you agree to these terms; if you don't agree, please don't use it.
2Who can use it
Kiomi is intended only for individuals aged 18 and older.
The extension runs in Chrome on a computer. On your phone, AI apps can connect to Kiomi through the connector, but the AI decides when to look up or save memories, so it will miss some.
3Accounts and spots
- Sign up and sign in with Google or email. One account per person; don't create extra accounts to take more spots.
- The public beta opens with 50 spots. Once they are taken, signing up requires an invite code. Email us to request one, and we'll send it when a spot opens.
- Accounts that join through an open spot get 30 days of access. After that, Kiomi stops saving new content and your memories stay; you can still view, export, and delete them. Accounts that joined with an invite code and have an access period work the same way when it ends.
- One account can connect up to 5 extensions.
4Pricing
Free during early access. Pricing isn't set yet. Kiomi does not currently provide a payment form. Pro (the Claude Code plugin and project progress) is currently open to some testers only and free for now.
Beta accounts won't turn into paid subscriptions automatically. If we offer paid plans later, Kiomi will charge you only after you choose a paid plan yourself and clearly agree to the charge. We'll announce it on the website and in the extension at least 30 days before charging begins, and email you too if you've given us your email address. Accounts that don't pay can still view, export, and delete their memories.
5Daily limits
During early access, each account can organize up to 1,000 batches of conversation a day, or 200 for accounts that joined through an open spot (counted in batches, not messages, on US Eastern time). Looking up memories has its own limit: 1,500 a day for the extension and 200 for connectors. Once you hit a limit, some new content that day won't be saved or brought in, and an import that stopped at the limit won't pick up again the next day.
These numbers may change during the beta; the FAQ on the home page has the current ones.
6Kiomi misses things and makes mistakes
For example:
- When you start a chat, Kiomi sometimes misses a relevant memory.
- When you correct something, Kiomi updates the old memory once it sees a clear correction. That takes a little while and occasionally doesn't happen; if what you said is unclear or contradicts itself, you may need to check it yourself.
- With connectors, the AI decides when to look up or save memories, and it passes on your words and may not get them exactly right.
- When you send a message, Kiomi takes at most 1.5 seconds to find related memories. If that takes longer, your message is sent as is, without memories.
Kiomi is provided as is. We don't guarantee that it will run without interruptions or errors, that it will save or bring in memories every time, or that what it saves or brings in is complete or accurate. Check anything important yourself.
If testing requires it (for example, changing how memories are stored), we may clear memories. We will notify you in advance, and we can help you export your memories upon request.
7Your content
What you say, and the memories organized from it, belong to you. We use them only to provide Kiomi: to organize them into memories, bring relevant ones into your later chats, keep the service running and prevent abuse, and manage daily limits. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or use it to train models. What we collect, which providers receive it, and how long we keep it are in the Privacy Policy.
You can view, export, and delete memories at any time in My memories, or choose Delete all memories on the Account page.
8What you may not do
- Create multiple accounts, sign up with scripts, or take extra spots in any other way.
- Attack, scan, or interfere with Kiomi's service, get around daily limits or access restrictions, or try to read anyone else's data.
- Use Kiomi to store passwords, keys, card numbers, or other secrets. For messages recorded by the Chrome extension or the Claude Code plugin, the original text is stored in Kiomi as part of the conversation until you delete it, even when our checks recognize it (Privacy Policy, Section 2).
- Use Kiomi for anything illegal.
We may limit, suspend, or close accounts that break these rules.
9Stopping, suspension, and changes
- You can stop at any time. Disconnect in the extension and it stops saving and bringing memories in. Connectors, the Claude Code plugin, and the extension in other browsers each need to be disconnected separately. To delete your memories along with those connections, choose “Delete all memories” at kiomi.ai and confirm. This can't be undone.
- During the beta, we may change, pause, or remove some features, and we may pause the whole service.
- If we plan to shut Kiomi down for good, we'll try to give at least 30 days' notice on the website and in the extension, and by email if you've given us your email address. During that time you can still export your memories (as a memory package ZIP from My memories) and delete them. If a legal requirement, a serious security incident, or another emergency beyond our control means we can't give notice in advance, we'll tell you as soon as reasonably possible. After the service ends, your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
- For important changes to these terms, we'll give at least 14 days' notice on the website and in the extension, and by email if you've given us your email address. When needed, we'll ask you to agree again. For small changes, such as wording or contact details, we just update the effective date above.
